I am requesting admin on meta to help out with closing meta threads and any other tasks that require admin tools, such as protection or deletion.

I, Isobel, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realise that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my tools because I realise that this is a serious offence. Questions for the nominee

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
Mainly thread closures. I used to do this while I was a board member and I actively close a lot of discussions on the RuneScape wiki. I would like to think that I do a good job of determining consensus and try to ensure that we keep on top of closing discussions so that editors can move forward with proposed changes. I am also happy to help with things like protecting pages from vandalism and blocking spam user accounts (though this problem seems mainly to have been eliminated at this point).

2. What have been your most helpful contributions to the Weird Gloop Wikis, and why?
I have been an active editor on the RuneScape wiki for nearly 9 years, 6 of which I have also been an admin. I do a lot of monitoring of recent changes and clean up on edits from less experienced editors and I fulfil requests which require admin tools such as speedy deletions. I have done a lot of projects over the years, most recently I attempted to improve all our PvM strategy guides and I am currently working through taking several thousand missing images. I would say my most helpful contributions have been to encourage new people to start editing the wiki through things like creating the early editions of our editing guides, nominating new users for the Wikian title, and running One Small Wiki Favour tasks.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Many! I care a lot about the wiki and have found many occasions where I have felt strongly about and/or disagreed with others about wiki matters. I would always advocate for people to deal with disagreements through discussion and to approach discussions with the intention of trying to understand other people's points of view, trying reach a reasonable compromise/consensus, and acting in the best interests' of the wiki. If that cannot be done informally, then the wikis have formal discussion processes that I would encourage editors to make use of to try and resolve their issues.
