I'd like admin rights to do CSS.

I, Iiii I I I, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realise that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my tools because I realise that this is a serious offence. Questions for the nominee

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
I intend to do CSS.

2. What have been your most helpful contributions to the Weird Gloop Wikis, and why?
I created both light and dark themes and established a style guide for the RuneScape Wiki, which is the basis for the ORS Wiki's theme. I also vectorized and tweaked RSW's current logo (based on Cuxrie's), designed the ORS Wiki logo, and designed the Weird Gloop logo and weirdgloop.org.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I've generally worked out conflicts over Discord since a large majority of editors have moved over to the platform. If we're unable to informally settle the issue, then the next step would be to ask for community input via an on-wiki discussion (eg. the Yew Grove, or this RfA to resolve my recent desysoping).

  • As the only user that cares about and maintains the style guide in any capacity, there will be something for me to do as long as people add content to the wiki. Iiii I I I 21:03, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

I didn't explain myself fully in my statement – changing the look is mostly CSS, but also involves uploading over fully protected files, protecting high-use images that I upload, deleting unused icons/images, editing system messages, and editing fully protected pages. I see no reason to unnecessarily restrict my rights here, given that I've been entrusted with adminship on both RSW and OSRSW. Iiii I I I 21:03, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
Response - If possible, I would like to state that there is also no reason to not restrict the rights to just those required for maintaining the CSS and its required files, if that is what you do actually intend to do on the Meta Wiki. Kate msg 22:20, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
What exactly does this mean? I've explained my need for 90% of the tools that administrators have, and creating a new usergroup that has that much overlap with administrators would be pretty pointless. --Iiii I I I 04:48, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
