The second board meeting for the 2023 board will take place on Sunday July 30th 2023 at 1400 (02:00 pm) UTC.

As always everyone is welcome to attend the first part of the meeting. Italicised items will take place after the public portion of the meeting.

Question/topic - the Minecraft wiki has been discussing decided to forking from Fandom, with several possibilities for potential hosts. More recently in the conversations, I’ve seen several mentions of RS as a potential candidate. Is that just something that people are throwing around, or has that actually been an offer extended by WG? If that were to happen, what would that look like from our perspective, operationally, financially, organizationally, etc.? Would it be another first class WG wiki, with a link from the WG.o landing page, the shared account system, votes (and perhaps even seats) in board elections, channels in Discord? Or would it be more of a discrete side project that stays separate? Or somewhere in between? And would this be a special case for some reason, or the first bud of WG branching out more broadly? Merch update - A group of us have been organizing the 2023 Wiki Merch Run. Given that our goal was mid-2023, the July board meeting might be a good time to introduce the topic to the board and give an update on our progress so far. Wolaznik (talk) 20:24, 25 July 2023 (UTC)

Appease the Elder Choir - Can RSC Wiki get a shout out for 5 years since RS-Classic shut down? Many pages have been created and improved in those 5 years, but still only 38% of scenery have proper infoboxes. That percentage is much lower for wallscenery as well, so there is definitely still work to be done. Also please add dark mode. —Logg^(talk) 15:36, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

Always happy to shoutout the RSC crew, I know RSCW has been mentioned in some board meetings in the past but I'm glad you're commenting here because it can be easy to overlook RSC concerns.
