Somebody implemented a discord server banner despite prior consensus determining we shouldn't and no meaningful discussion taking place to override that. I think we should remove it based on the previous reasoning of using up vertical space for 0 benefit, it being buggy on mobile (still, after 3 years of discord implementing the feature). I've also been told that now the onus is on reverters to come up with threads and canvas people to support the reversion threads rather than the people making changes needing valid reasons to make changes, so jsyk I've canvassed the previous opposers ahead of time.  Crow  22:36, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

Oppose - Wasn't around for the original discussion but I like it too. It adds a touch of flair/colour to the otherwise boring-looking server. It also makes us look a little more official, not that it really matters. Owl ^{(t | c) (osrsw)} 05:16, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

A user has requested closure for Remove discord server banner. The reason given was: The banner's been removed

Closed - Seems like this was removed by Gaz earlier today, so the thread is moot. It seems like a decent number of people would like us to have a banner (and there's a reasonable chance that a proposal to do so would pass), but this thread is a fairly confusing venue for continuing that conversation.
