"With the glass ceiling broken, all the oppressed groups shall prosper, especially the most oppressed group of all: Old School Wiki Admins." - Scuzzy Beta, 2018
~

Despite Old School RuneScape currently having more players than RuneScape, and the OSRS Wiki having more traffic than the RS Wiki, the OSRS Wiki has 40% fewer active editors. The reason for this disparity is quite clear: the order of admin roles in the Wiki Discord server. When prospective editors come into the server, they are greeted by a sidebar onslaught of bright red RS Wiki admin names, oftentimes 15 or more deep. At best, the small but hardworking group of OSRS Wiki admins barely peeks out below the onslaught of RSW admins, and a lot of the time they don't even get that.

look at the oppression in this picture

These potential new editors see only a mountain of RS Wiki admins, and few if any OS Wiki admins; is it really any surprise then that these editors don't stick around to edit the OSRS Wiki? Even in the official wiki Discord it seems like there's nobody editing the OSRS Wiki, at least based on the sidebar! Thus, the OSRS Wiki gets fewer edits, fewer long term editors, fewer RfAs, and even fewer admins because of it. By placing themselves on the top of the Discord usergroup heirarchy, the villainous RSW Admins have created a self-perpetuating cycle of oppression, in which the OSRS Wiki community is forever condemned to live as second-class citizens below their iron heel. Obviously, something must be done to rectify this situation.

these graphs cook posted four months ago clearly demonstrate many points

My proposal is simple: reverse the ordering of the RS and OSRS Wiki Admin usergroups on the Discord, placing the OSRS admins at the top where they obviously belong. No longer will the OSW admins languish beneath the horde of RSW admins. Of course, with this improvement in sidebar representation will come an equal improvement in the amount of engaged editors on the OSRS Wiki, helping to tip the scales back towards an equilibrium that benefits all peoples. I invite my fellow editors to join with me in breaking the glass ceiling, and helping to right this imbalance that has persisted far too long.

Support - Since OSRS is basically the main game now, it makes more sense for the OSRS admins to be at the top, hopefully attracting new editors who feel the server is just an RS3 circlejerk right now. Though you should amend your post to have a more serious tone, lest people take this as some type of joke. チェン (話し合う) 06:32, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Support - Unironically, alphabetical role ordering is the way to go when roles have the same permissions as each other, note that the list would change size to have more osw admins due to Cook, Kitty, Gaz, 7i, etc henceforth being displayed as osw admins zTUG5mD.png Crow  06:36, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Comment - I am concerned this is a brazen, badly-disguised attempt attempt for BigDiesel to be the first person on the Discord list. However, I like graphs and am convinced by the graphs that this is overall a good idea. I would support this if BigDiesel was willing to change his name to ZigDiesel, so as to not be the top person on the list. ʞooɔ 06:39, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Would you support if we sysopped somebody whose name would appear before BigDiesel's instead of forcing BigDiesel into a name change? Somebody such as BadDiesel? zTUG5mD.png Crow  06:42, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
No, I think it's important that BigDiesel pays a price here. I also think having User:Towelcat's Discord name be "cat" is confusing, he should probably change it to towelcat. ʞooɔ 06:43, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Rebuttal - This comment is just a blantant attempt by Cook Me Plox (AKA COOK) to place himself atop the Discord list and sow discord (the actual word, not the chat program) amongst the members of this revolution. I will serve as the bastion of strength and unity against the greedy admins-whos-names-start-with-the-letter-c-or-lower. I do this not out of a desire for power or recognition, but as my solemn duty as an Old School RuneScape Wiki admin. In this righteuous movement against our oppressors, remember these words: "No Gods or Kings, Only (ad)Min". BigDiesel2m (talk) 06:48, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Strong support renaming to ZigDiesel - zig is a fun word STAR the coolest bean (talk 2 me xoxo) 16:20, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Support - Actual support, not memeing support due to the date. Badassiel 06:40, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Oppose - What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little (actually very big) bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the RuneScape Wiki Admins, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on big-cabal, and I have over 300 confirmed bans. I am trained in meme shitposting and I'm the top editor in the entire RuneScape Wiki armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another vandal. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Wiki, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet just because you're a board member and Old School Admin? Calling me an oppressor? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of Cook Me Plox's across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, Zig. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your editing career. You're fucking banned, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can ban you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my Logitech mouse. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed editing, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the RuneScape Wiki Admins and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the Weird Gloop wikis, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, BigDiesel. Closure - due to overwhelming consensus we will be going with option 12J: to run a <choose>-based script once an hour that randomly determines the order of admin groups in the Discord sidebar. GloopyBot will be rewritten and given top-level permissions in order to enact these changes. BigDiesel2m (talk) 16:06, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
